Ken's Kars is a family owned and operated business, that has served the Dayton Ohio area for over 50 years.

Founded somewhere between 1942 and 1948, Ken's Kars originally was located just a few doors up from where it is today.  Look at those great old cars in this early photo.   Those were the days!

Central to all of Dayton, Ohio, Ken's Kars has helped thousands of satisfied customers find a good, reliable used car. 

Three Generations of Owners

Today's owner, Ken Smiley, is the third of a long line of Ken Smileys, including his Dad and GrandDad. Ken's earliest memories of Ken's Kars are washing cars on the lot for his Dad.  Ken is on the lot every day, helping with the every day goings on.  Look him up next time you are in.

Our Staff

Ron Burton is the Sales Manager.  Ron and Ken actually went to Vandalia-Butler high school together.  Years later, during a white water rafting trip, Ken mentioned that he needed some help. That was nine years ago and Ron has been here ever since.  He loves his job!  Can't you tell?

Here is everyone together. Nick Beigel, on the left, and Steve Haas are our lot technicians. They make sure your newly purchased vehicle is freshly washed and ready to go, among other things, so you can drive it home with pride.

Our Most Loyal Customer

"Robert" bought his first car from us back in the 1950's and has continued to buy a car from us every 2-3 years since. We guess that he's bought somewhere around 16-17 cars from us over the years.

Why does he only buy his cars from us?  He trusts us.

Even Our Mailman is a Customer

Our mail carrier, Jeff Crunkleton, bought this Pontiac GTO (pictured below) from Ken's Kars in 1974.   He still has it!  

Drive Away The Same Day -- Even in a Blizzard

"Carl", another loyal customer, first came to us during a big blizzard.  A cab dropped him off in front of our car lot.  He looked around and bought a car.  We even got him financing right on the spot and he drove away that same day with his newly purchased vehicle.

You guessed it, Carl has purchased 3-4 cars since the big blizzard -- all from us.
