We
are Famous in Argentina!
"Mr Ken.
I guess you would be surprised to get this message from me. My name is Diego
Gonzalez. I live in Argentina and have worked for NCR Corporation for about
15 years. Two of those years I spent them in Dayton, which today I consider
my home away from home.
I was really surprised yesterday when I saw in Clarín (Argentina's most
important Newspaper - and also the most important one all over Latin America
if you consider the number of units sold), an article on the USA elections and
suddenly read "Dayton, Ohio". Then I saw your picture with the Dayton
skyline at the back and both my wife and I could not really believe our eyes.
There were some remarks on how your business has been affected by the current
economic scenario and the closing of the GM factory.
Anyway, as I was not sure if you will get a copy,
I decided to take the time to send you a scanned image of your
picture (read actual article
- warning, it is in Español).
Well, what can I say. You are now famous in Argentina and millions
of people here have seen your picture (about 2 million). I
am sure you never dreamed about anything like this.
Best regards, from Buenos Aires!! "

Our Longest Testimonial Ever Received
Summary: Delta airlines employee from Florida
bought his dream car off of the Internet from us. In short,
he loves our customer service.
"Hello:
In Dec 2006, I was wanting to buy a specific minivan. Chrysler
made a limited number of 1995 Plymouth Grand Voyager SE "Rallye" Edition,
and are increasingly hard to find used in good condition. After
numerous hours of searching I landed what might be the perfect
van at Kens Kars . The Rallye van had to have captains
chairs and dual a/c and heat, and your dealership was the
only one that I could find that had what I wanted, and this
included almost every internet dealer across the US and Canada.
At that time, I worked for Delta airlines so I had
the opportunity to fly to Dayton on an overnight to check out
the van. After
deciding on it, I didn't have the cash on hand nor the time
to drive it off the lot-since I lived in Fort Lauderdale, FL . I
was astounded that they were willing to work with me and
let me make small cash deposits until I could schedule a time to
drive it to FL. These guys were super awesome! They
even let me take myself back to the airport for the Delta flight
home by test driving the van and let me take good hi res pictures
of it as well!
Finally February 2007 rolled around and soon as I
could determine I could make it to DAY, arrangements for
pickup were made.
I took Jetblue from FLL to JFK, and then from
JFK to Toledo OH. From Toledo I rented a car to drive
to Dayton. They even helped me drop off my rental car
at Dayton Airport and picked me up personally to pick up
with my tool box, flight bags and all.
That's what I call curbside service!
The dealership had the van all cleaned, and serviced
for the trip to FLL area. Ron Burton even told me that
one of the CV joints was bad and went ahead and serviced
it for no charge along with a new battery.
Fast forward to 22 months now, I STILL own the Grand Voyager.
Although it needs a new transmission, alternator
and few other things; I can't complain. This Ken's
Kar has gotten me down to Florida in 2006, has endured the
hot humid heat down there. Then it got me from FLL
up to JFK in fall of 2007,which is over 1261 miles! Until
very recently the same van has taken me on 5 rountrips from
JFK airport to Cape Cod in the spring of 2008, each way nearly
270 Miles! So definitely gotten my moneys worth and more,
and have not regretted a single comfort laden mile in it!
So what's the future of my 1995 Rallye?? Its going to
live on. For now, I have temporarily taken it out of service,
and is being stored safely in a climate controlled garage
for the winter. Next spring and summer it will be repainted
to factory original newness, a rebuilt transmission, brand
new higher-amperage alternator and major engine overhaul
will complete under the hood. The
interior will be totally refurbished cleaned and lined with
sound proofing insulation, featuring a Kenwood DVD/5.1 Surround
Sound system with multiple LCD monitors, a digital media
server and new "aircraft" styled interior lighting. The
original cluster has been replaced with all digital displays. I'm
going for a complete "glass cockpit" themed look here
with overhead and center consoles with multiple illuminated
switches. It
even talks too, with audible warnings, alerts or reminders! Hopefully
by the end of summer 2009 it will be rolling show piece and
plan to enter in a car show or two. Eventually I will alot
of pictures of the reborn and rebuilt "95 Rallye"
The moral of the story is the folks at Ken's Kars
will take EXCELLENT care of you, and know what customer service
is all about. Anyone
who is nervous about buying a car, truck or van on the internet,
should give their dealership in DAY a second look. Once
you buy there, you'll drive away from their lot knowing you made
the right choice! I know I did! If I can do it again,
I want a used 2008 Town and Country TOURING edition or 2008
Grand Caravan SXT from them.
PS. This testimonial was unsolicited by staff
or management at Ken's Kars and was entered completely voluntarily
by me as the original owner of above described vehicle."

was 18. Several years later, she came all the way back from New
Jersey specifically to purchase another car at Ken's Kars."
We can't remember who said this, but they did.
